Triangular bottom-up lace shawl with beautiful edge and border. You can knit it with 2 different sizes. The large one has 1560 nupps and the middle size shawl contains 1202 tiny beautiful nupps.

Yarn:
Any cobweb or lace yarn is good for this shawl. But know that heavier yarn (100g=1200m, or 100g=1000m) may need larger needles and more yarn. And shawl’s measurement increases as well.

Needles and notions:
2,5 mm (US 1½) -3 mm (US 2½) 80cm / 32“ circular needle.
4-4,5 mm (US 6-7) 80cm / 32“ circular needle for cast on.
1 DPN needle for 3-needles-bind-off.
Removable stitch marker, if you prefer to mark middle stitch and ordinary stitch markers for pattern repeats.

This pattern uses stitches which are tradicional for Haapsalu lace. All used symbols are explained.

Sample:
White shawl is knitted from fine mixed wool (70% wool, 20% silk, 10 % cashmere), size L. Weight is 88 g. It’s 222 cm wide and it’s height is 114 cm.

The pattern is charted and charts are written out. There are some pages of pattern instructions, 8 pages of charts and 14 pages for written instructions.
