NOTES:

  1. Ch 3 at the beginning of a row counts as a dc.
  2. Ch 4 at the beginning of a row counts as a dc, ch1.
  3. When you get to the end of the rows remember to count the ch 4 from the previous row as a ch 1 space and a dc. I have written instructions out more clearly in row 3 to help you identify these stitches on the following rounds.
  4. Starting in row 3, when you are working up the first side and come to the previous row’s 3dc fan. The ch 1’s are counted as chain one spaces in rows 3, 4, 5’s directions.

Special Stitches
3dc fan – (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated stitch.
2dc fan – (ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1) in indicated stitch.
