This stylish, pullover is fun and challenging to knit as well as comfortable. Equally appropriate for a casual workday or a relaxing afternoon out, it looks great in your choice of DK or worsted weight fiber, with or without contrasting trim at the lower edge. Instructions are given for two styles and sizes: work in a gauge of 6 sts = 1” on a size 5 needle to make a 36” bust, or 5 sts = 1” on a 6 for a 40” chest measurement. As always, you can vary your gauge further with weight of yarn and/or needle size. Variation #1, shown in grey, has a garter and eyelet edging at the lower edge and wrists; version #2 has a slanted lacy leaf edging, which may be done in a contrasting color. Directions for version #2 begin on p. 8.

The classic version has a simple eyelet pattern at the bottom, while the fancier version begins with a slanted lace leaf edging done in a contrasting color (CC) from which you pick up the MC stitches for the body. Both versions are beautiful.
