Blocks of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitches alternate to create a pattern of hearts across this reversible blanket. Four hearts also repeat on a band around the hat.

On the blanket, the raised stitches create comforting warmth and are framed by simple seed stitch borders. The squares are worked across 19 stitches and 20 rows and are easy to memorize.

Pattern includes written instructions and charts. Samples were knit in DK weight cotton yarn (15 wpi).
