This pattern is using UK terminology.

You will need 4 different colours for this bag and you will need to be able to read a stitch chart too as well as knowing how to work tapestry crochet.

You can use any Aran weight yarn for this project. If you chose to work the pattern in a finer yarn weight you will just end up with a smaller bag. (Don’t forget to match hook size to yarn weight if you do change it.)
