These lined mittens combine femininity and luxury. The outer mittens are knitted with one strand each of River City Eden (a blend of merino, cashmere, and nylon) and Rowan Kidsilk Haze (a blend of mohair and silk). The inner mittens are knitted with Rowan Finest (a blend of extra-fine merino, cashmere, and royal alpaca). The combination of sumptuous fibers makes for pure indulgence. The outer mittens are worked first, then stitches for the inner mittens are picked up along the cast-on edges and worked in the opposite direction. A simple lace pattern along the back of the outer mitten hand reveals pops of bright color from the inner mitten. Want to use the same yarns we did?
