Cute hedgehog baby blanket.
Measures approximately 18 x 24 inches/46 x 61 cm.
Ideal little pram/buggy sized blanket.

You will need 2 x 100g balls of Hayfield Baby Chunky, shade 471 (Purple Pizzzazz) for the main colour.
For the hedgehog prickles, I have used Nature’s Way Chunky by Stylecraft. Any brown flecky, tweedy type yarn in the correct tension would work.
You will also need a small quantity of beige for the face and legs, and a very small quantity of black yarn for the nose and eye, which is sewn on by hand after knitting the blanket.

This blanket is knitted with chunky/bulky yarn, tension:
14 stitches x 20 rows= 4 inches/10 cm. on 6mm/no.10 needles.
