Hedwig choker
The Hedwig choker is a quick and easy lace accessory inspired by spiderwebs. Perfect as a last minute halloween costume that you probably want to wear all year around because its so pretty!
You can wear it either as a choker or headband.
The pattern includes instructions for two yarn weights: lace and fingering. I recommend trying fingering weight first, if you’re not used to working with thin yarn.
Construction: basic crochet stitches, worked flat in rows.
Techniques used: chains, double crochet, slip stitches.
Yarn: Lace weight cotton (e.g. YarnArt Lily), or Fingering weight cotton(e.g. Hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4)
Hook: 1.25 mm or 2mm
Notions: silk satin ribbon to tie it.
Finished size: one size, 40 cm long, can be easily made longer with more repeats.
Pattern includes: written instructions, charts and blocking tips.
This design is part of my mini Halloween Crochet Collection.
