Hel
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Hel is now available outside of Gaia’s club. Hel was designed specially for Gaia’s Colours Fibre Arts Samhain 2009 club. Hel was the Norse goddess of the underworld. It is said that she was half alive and half dead. Each side of this sock represents a side of her. She has a skeleton side and a more graceful, flowing side.
This pattern comes in three sizes of 56, 64, and 72 total stitches. Each sizes has it’s own charts.
Techniques used: toe-up, Turkish cast-on, short row heel, increases, decreases, reading a chart
