Inspired by vintage cardigans with deep-ribbed cropped waists coming to a point at the bust, and with gathered shoulders, such as Sirdar No. 1345 from the 1930s and Weldon’s A1240 from the 1950s, this cardigan features a wide rib that hits at the natural waist at the side seam and draws upwards towards the full bust at center front. The stretchy texture rib pattern at the full bust allows for a fitted look even in smaller busts than indicated by size. The textured Honeycomb rib pattern then gathers at the upper bust and transforms into 1x1 rib to draw in the fabric and shape the neckline at the same time. The sleeves are short with a wide-ribbed cuff to match and a puffed sleeve cap. A wide button band allows you to showcase some treasured buttons.

Pair with some vintage-style, wide-legged, high-waist trousers, a pair of leather oxfords, and perhaps a hat as well—and you will be sending out old Hollywood vibes for sure!
