Helike is a fun, reversible lace toque with a bright pop of color. The turned brim is great for using a small amount of brightly colored yarn, and you decide how much of that bright color you show off. Named for one of the moons of Jupiter, which was in turn, named for one of the nymphs that cared for Zeus in his infancy.

This hat is worked from the bottom up in the round, beginning with a provisional cast on. The brightly colored inner portion of the brim is worked first, followed by the main color portion. The turned brim is attached by knitting both sides of the brim together, no sewing involved (a photo tutorial of this step is included). Both written and charted instructions are included for the lace pattern and decrease section.
