This is my fourth fairisle-type sweater design, and the first that I have managed to write down clearly enough to make it into a pattern!

Heliotrope (meaning purple) is knitted from the top down on circular needles, and incorporates a garland style design on the yoke. Special underarm shaping means that it fits really nicely without any of the pulling around the bust you can sometimes get with circular yoke sweaters.

I used wendy aran with 25% wool in two colours - bramble and old gold. It used a 400g ball of bramble, and probably about 100g or so of old gold.

I hope you like it :) Please let me know if you find any errata.
