The Helix Scarf is an incredibly versatile accessory that can be knitted with any type of yarn. Its length, width, and spiral angle can all be customized to personal preference. It can be used as a scarf, belt, bag strap, curtain tieback, and so on.
The scarf begins with an I-cord tie, followed by gradual increases and short rows to form a spiral-shaped edge. Once the desired width is reached, the pattern is repeated until the intended length is achieved. Finally, stitches are gradually decreased to taper the edge, and the piece is finished with another I-cord tie.
