This tunic style pattern is for 24-stitch punchcard and electronic standard gauge knitting machines. No ribber required. The purl side is the right side of this garment.

4- ply yarn: 350-425g
Weaving yarn: 150-200g

Sideways knitting and knitweave give added drape plus flattering vertical lines and texture. Knitweave gives an excellent opportunity to use some of the “special” textured yarns sitting in your stash. Although the fabric has a patchwork effect, front and back are each knitted in one piece and lay flat without distortion.

Machine functions needed: stockinette, knitweave, hold, tuck.

The pattern gives full “row by row” instructions for each individual size and a constant “row counter” guide for reference.

Both punchcard and electronic charts are given. There are two charts of each: main design and the twist portion.

Separate instructions are given for simutaneous knitweave and holding for Brother and Silver / Studio machines.
