The Helm of Awe is an Icelandic sigil to induce fear in your enemies and to protect against abuses of power. The striking design is at least visually commanding, and is a pleasure to knit and wear.

YARN: Diamond Luxury Highlander (100% Peruvian Wool, sport weight, 50g/138m per ball); 1 ball in Dark Forest (col. 3315) and 1 ball in Pale Grey (col. 3302).

NEEDLES: Four 3.25 mm double-pointed needles or size required to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: 24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette

MEASUREMENTS/SIZING: Small and large size (to fit 20” and 22” around head).
