The cats have spoken! Not only do they want socks dedicated to them, but they now need mitts too! Fingerless mitts, suitable for chin scritches, pettings and of course opening packets of treats. These mittens feature the cat motif from the much-loved Herding Cats socks.

With these mitts, we can all knit and wear them to show our love and dedication to our cats. Whether wearing them at home, giving our cats pets, or when out, paying at the supermarket, showing the shop assistant that we are a dedicated cat person!

These fingerless mitts are knit from the bottom cuff upwards and finish before the end of the fingers. They have a repeating cat motif running throughout the mitt. They are knit seamlessly in the round. Stitches are picked up to create a simple open-ended thumb.

These mitts were made in collaboration with Road Trip Sock Yarn Herding Cats yarn sets. All colours in these kitten mini sets have yarns inspired by adoptable shelter cats in Denver, Colorado. https://www.etsy.com/shop/RoadTripSockYarn
