My Autistic son loves animals and he’s lucky enough to volunteer at an amazing charity called Here4Horses here in the Northeast of England. Here4Horses rescue ill-treated and abused horses and the work they do is inspirational. We sponsor one of their horses, but I wanted to try and raise some money for them from the wonderful knitting/crochet community that I know and love, and so I have designed the Here4Horses shawl.

It’s a simple one skein, fingering/4ply weight shawl which you can throw on to keep out those winter chills yet is small enough to shove in a pocket or bag. It’s the perfect scrappy project if you want to use up multiple yarns, or you can make it with that special skein we all have sitting in our stash. Either way, it’s a quick knit and is perfect for gift knitting.

100% of the money I receive for this pattern will be donated to Here4Horses.
I shall post a donation total on the pattern page on Ravelry which I shall update every few months.

If you have purchased the pattern, thank you. If you have got the pattern from a friend, please consider making your own donation to this wonderful charity. You can find their website at www.here4horses.org.uk.

Happy knitting…..
