This blanket, while having a very simple construction, is dense, warm and a visually stunning piece to wrap the newest members of our families in.

The linen stitch pattern is easy to get the hang of, and creates a wrong side that’s just as interesting to look at as the front. There’s also plenty of texture for baby’s fingers to explore.

Linen stitch doesn’t curl, so there’s no need for fancy borders or other motifs. This also makes it a dream to wash and dry since blocking isn’t needed for the blanket to pop back into shape.
