The shawl consists of: garter stitch, textured stitch and a few short rows. All RS rows begin and end with two
increases (kfb), and all WS rows begin and end with an
increase (kfb), creating a semi-circular shape. The shawl ends with a lace border.

● Size
Approx. 75 inches; 190 cm in wingspan (along the upper
edge) and 21½ inches; 55 cm in depth, after block.

● Wool
Approx. 875 yards; 800 meters of fingering wool or
other to obtain gauge. The sample was knitted with
Hermès by Lain’Amourée – 50% merino, 50% silk – 438
yards; 400 meters.
Color 1 (CC1): Edouard aux mains d’argent, 1 skein.
Color 2 (CC2): A la prunelle de mes yeux, 1 skein.

US4; 3.50 mm circular needles, 47 inches; 120 cm long
or other size to obtain gauge.
US6; 4.00 mm circular needles (bind off only).
