Tangy

By popular demand, here’s an adult version of my Helena pattern.

While I kept many aspects of the original design, including the top-down raglan construction and the simple lace pattern in the skirt section, I changed the silhouette to be more flattering to a woman’s shape. Rather than an empire waist as in the baby sweater, I’ve dropped the waist to create a peplum-style skirt for the adult version.

Knitting from the top down allows you to try on the sweater as you go, so you can customize the length and be sure of the fit as you go along.

PATTERN NOTES

Fitting Note: This cardigan is designed so that the combined fronts are approx. 1.52, 2.75, 2.75, 2.75, 3.5, 4.25, 5 inches wider than the back. This allows more ease in the front, over the bust, than in the back.
