NOTE ON PATTERN
This pattern was created to produce a stripe-by-stripe replica of Hermione Granger’s sweater from the movie “Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix”. As such, in order for the stripes to be maintained, the pattern is identical for all sizes and sizing is dependant on yarn thickness, needle size and tension. The table in the photos section gives an idea of what thickness yarn to purchase for the various sized garments. The sizes in the table are just a guide as the pattern can accomodate all sizes - there are calculations to work out your tension for whatever size you want to make it!!!

NOTE ON YARN COLORS
No specific yarn is recommended for this pattern.
However, please refer to the photos section for the Artbox Costume Collectable Trading Cards produced for the original Harry Potter movie sweater. I have tried to make the colors show on screen the same as they appear in the cards that I own (Note: I do not own cards containing mauve or yellow, so these colors pictured may not be accurate).

PRINTING OF THIS PATTERN
The pages of this pdf pattern have been set up to form a little booklet. When you go to print this pdf (if your printer allows you to) please select “Double-sided Top-to-Top” printing. The paper size is A4 landscape. This will ensure your booklet is printed correctly. Alternatively, print one page at a time, refeeding the first page into the printer so it will print the second page on the other side.
