Now available as an individual Ravelry download, this pattern was originally published in Making Stories Magazine, Issue 2. There is something about lace around my shoulders that I find immensely elegant. Combined with a circular yoke and top down construction, it’s also simple to knit and simple to wear.
Pullover is constructed top down. Short rows are included to raise the back neck (but may also optionally be omitted). Lace motif is worked between increase rounds of the neck. Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and worked separately. Because the sweater is top down the length is adjustable and it is easy to try the garment on as you go to choose your own length. (Note that changing length will also change your required yardage.)
