This beautiful bed runner features in our book Simple Chic Knits. It is such a gorgeous piece in sumptuously soft Plump superchunky… I have one on my bed and one in the living room which is fought over every winter evening and possibly saving on our heating bills!

Herringbone is slow to knit, but easy. Once you’ve relaxed into it you’ll really enjoy it. We have a video showing you how to do it. I’d really recommend having a go, it’s very satisfying!

This kit includes the yarn for the colourway shown in either small or medium/large sizes. You can really have fun with colours here though and a plain colour is gorgeous too. If you need to buy the book, you can get it from Mrs Moon stockists or Amazon.

The requirements are:

2 (2) skeins each of the border colours (rhubarb crumble and fondant fancy)

1 (2) skeins of the other colours pavlova, pistachio icecream and peppermint cream.

Finished measurements:
Small: 128 x 59cm Medium: 160 x 59cm Large: 171 x 59cm

You will also need 20mm circular knitting needles (I’d recommend at least 80cm long)
