This pattern creates a warm, fitted beanie using worsted weight yarn and a size J crochet hook. A decorative button is sewn on the tab of the beanie’s brim. Caron Simply Soft Tweeds works well for this hat, but any light worsted weight yarn will do.

The finished beanie will measure approximately 8 inches from the top of the hat to the edge. The hat should fit a head circumference between 19” and 23”.

Materials:
Size J - 6mm Crochet Hook
Worsted weight (size 4) yarn, one skein
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
One 5/8” or 3/4” Button (with holes large enough for yarn needle to pass through.)
