In our latest pattern we mix the much loved herringbone stitch with a leafy pointelle stitch. The end result if a fun mix of two very different stitches mishmash-ed together. I love the mix of the curved leaf stitch with the structure of the herringbone.

Skill Level: Intermediate Knitter

Two skeins Spun Cloud (100% Wool, approx. 100 yds/200g) Cowl shown in French Vanilla and scarf shown in Ink.

Needle Size: Size 17 (12mm) needles Size 19 (16mm) straight needles

Cowl: Approximately 65”/165cm long before seaming

Straight Scarf: Approximately 72”/183cm long excluding fringe. Fringe length: approximately 7”

Gauge:

Leafy stitch: approximately 9”/23cm wide

Herringbone stitch: approximately 7”/18cm wide
