The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke and body are worked back and forth in rows. The sleeves are worked in the round.

The color work yoke motif is worked with the slip stitch mosaic technique. You can choose to knit the contrast color motif in multiple shades as shown using intarsia or with 1 color. On the MC rows, only one yarn is used. On the CC rows each repeat of the chart is worked with a different color, using intarsia to change colors between each motif, or you could choose to work the yoke with 1 contrast color the whole way across.

Needles
29” circular needles and double pointed needles (or your prefered needles for knitting a small circumference), sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 3 (3.25 mm) or size to obtain gauge for body and sleeve as well as needles 2 sizes smaller for ribbing.

Notions Required
12 stitch markers, (8, 8, 8, 8) (9, 9, 9, 9) buttons approximately ¾” / 2cm across, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
