Inspired by marvelous old photos from the 1920s of lady walkers in Shetland, this loose-fitting pullover makes good use of the Dimple Shale and Rib stitch, which is a variation of the Old Shale pattern used in classic Shetland lace. With its scalloped edge and dainty details, this stitch is reminiscent of foamy, gently breaking waves on a beach.
