Do not use Red Heart Super Saver for this hat. For reasons I cannot figure out, it simply does not work, not even when adjusting hook sizes/increases.

This hexagon hat is worked with simple increases and minimal decreases. The fitted band is created with one round of decreases and then switching hook sizes. The hat is worked in the round without turning.

It’s a hat that gets a lot of character from some basic structure. Looks great in every color.
