Hexagon Illusion Blanket
In this blanket, the colors in the hexagons are arranged to appear as a stack of 3D cubes or blocks. The same distribution is visually perceived differently depending on whether it is viewed from one perspective or another.
Pattern includes row-by-row description and photos.
It is suitable for almost all levels of crochet experience from beginner to advanced levels.
You will need to know how:
(US English) chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and triple crochet.
Using a crochet hook of 3.5 mm and Sport/DK yarn:
The blanket with 30 (5x6) hexagons measures approx. 80 cm x 80 cm (31½ “ x 31½ “)
The blanket with 42 (6x7) hexagons measures approx. 96 cm x 96 cm (37¾ “ x 37¾ “).
You can create a larger afghan by crocheting more hexagons or using a larger hook.
