Hexagon + Bloom = Hexanbloom
Hexanbloom is a modern twist on a vintage style hexagon block. The hexagons are worked in rounds, the half hexagons worked in rows. 
The hexagons can be placed in a large variety of styles to create anything you would normally use a standard hexagon
Assumed Knowledge: 
Single crochet 
Double crochet 
Working into front and back loops 
Preferred joining method- sew, crochet or JAYG
Materials needed:
Hexanbloom can be made in any weight yarn and hook size you like. The larger the yarn and hook the larger the hexagons and vice versa. The sample hexagons are made in Garnmanufaktur 4ply Lola/Mclana and 3 mm hook, they measure 12cm across point to point 
Stitch markers 
Wool/darning needle
Hook size: 
There is no gauge for Hexanbloom, use the hook you are most comfortable using for the yarn
Stitch abbreviations: 
(US Terms) 
Pm: Place marker 
Dc: Double crochet 
Sc: Single crochet 
Bldc/sc: Back loop double or single crochet 
Fldc/sc: Front loop double or single crochet 
Ch: Chain 
Skp: Skip stitch 
Sl st: Slip stitch 
Ch-sp: Chain space
