On the hunt for a perfect lightweight cardigan for all seasons, this sweater was born. Deep borders of a woven stitch pattern keep things interesting, while the main body of the sweater is worked in stockinette. You can wear the sweater open, or close with a shawl pin.

Made in lace weight yarn it is warm and easy to wear, yet light enough to layer under jackets during winter and late fall/early spring.

Sweater is worked from the top down, with sleeves worked once body and bottom edging are completed. Front & neckline edgings are then worked. Yarn is doubled & larger needles are used for all woven stitch borders making them more substantial.

Errata
In the cast on row, one of the parenthesis around the number sets for sizes 32-40 was misplaced making it difficult to find the correct back cast on number. It has now been fixed! If you are working off an old copy it should read for back cast on numbers: k34 (36, 38, 40, 42, 44)(46, 48, 50, 52, 54)(56, 58, 60, 62, 64).
