This hat was inspired by a hat that I saw commercially available in several high street shops here in the UK. Instead of paying £20 for a crappy acrylic hat, I decided to spend £10 on knitting my own in 100% wool. I used Manos del Uruguay, and I’ve also knitted one in Rowan Cocoon.

I’ve now reworked these notes into a full knitting pattern, available in three sizes, as I know for some people my original pattern was too small! To reflect the work I’ve put in this pattern is now available for purchase for £2.50.
