Perfect to throw on over any outfit, Highams Park is a classic striped stocking stitch, crescent-shaped shawl, with an elegant lace edging. Knit from the top down in laceweight yarn, the striped body of this beautifully lightweight shawl flows effortlessly into the edging. Highams Park is easy enough for a confident, challenge-hungry beginner with some lace knitting already under their belt, but also provides enough interest for the most experienced knitters.

Knit yours in stripes as written, or with a solid coloured body and contrasting edging, or even all in one colour - the possibilities are endless. This is not a quick knit, but the body of the shawl makes for perfect TV knitting. However, I’d recommend paying close attention to the edging pattern to avoid lace-induced meltdowns along the way!

Instructions are provided in both written and charted format.
