Hikers’ Trio
We hiked during the pandemic. A lot! Some weeks, we were out nearly every day, even in snow on cold winter days. We hiked state and local parks, neighborhoods, and campuses. Hiking got us outside every day in the fresh air and provided us with momentary relief from the craziness that our world had become.
Many times, after hiking, we got together to work on projects.
Our creative, tight knit, masked hiking group had fun collaborating on the design of these three items, at eight foot tables, spaced six feet apart, making the very most of the situation. This trio of patterns — neck gator, hat, and headband — were all knit with just one skein each of Malabrigo Rios and Sock and the result of us thinking outside the box.
We hope you enjoy them all!
All pieces were knit by Barbara.
Thank you to Barbara for modeling!
