This lacy circular shawl has soothing lace cables and a feather and fan section. It is as light as a feather yet comforting and elegantly warm.

There are elements within this shawl that are both quite easy and rather difficult. The centre is easy and fast: a generic spiral using short row shaping. This is knitted first then seamed to form a circle. The border is knitted afterwards, again using short row shaping to make it curve, and sewn on once it is the correct length.
