I named this Hillock for the short repetition of the central pattern that causes the fabric and color around them to undulate like hills and the valleys around them.

This is a quick knit that lets the colors in the yarn do the work for you. It is made using our long striping (LS) yarns in Sprout, our sock yarn, but it’s definitely not just for socks anymore. You can use any of our other multi colored yarns, it would be interesting to see how they work up.

You will use most of your yarn, there is enough yarn left over for gauge variation, but always make sure you are close to gauge for a similar result.

We would love to see what your Hillock looks like, don’t forget to use #hillockscarfette if you post on Instagram!
