Throughout my design career, I have successfully relied on the mantra of “Simplify and then Exaggerate”. This shawl is a good example: it is SIMPLE in it highlights a garter stitch pattern and an easy lace pattern which, combined, repeat in EXAGGERATED bold diagonal stripes. Easy to make by an advanced beginner knitter it can be varied by choice of yarn. Happy Knitting!
