Hippolyte is a tank top knitted from top down entirely in stockinette stitch with two strands of yarn. Who said tank tops should only be worn in summer? Hippolyte can be slipped under an open shirt in mid-season or worn over a blouse to warm it up. That being said, it can obviously be knitted in a cooler yarn, cotton, or linen for example, if you want to wear it in the summer. It is so easy and quick to knit that it will become an essential to your wardrobe, and you will want it in every possible color!
