Knit this classic looking sweater for him! This one, he will surely like! …or knit it for yourself! :)

This patter is in English but includes a detailed table with terms translated into German. Diese Anleitung ist in englisch geschrieben aber enhält eine detaillierte Tabelle mit Übersetzung von Begriffen & Abkürzungen.

This sweater is knit from the top down in seamless construction. It is started by knitting up the two saddle shoulder sections. Then stitches are picked up along the sides of the saddle sections for the back and repeated for the front. A few short rows are worked to shape the shoulder shaping. Stitches are joined in the round at the underarm and the body is worked in the round from that point forward. Sleeves are knit from the top-down using short rows to shape the sleeve cap. You can knit the sweater in two colors or in one color. Both look very good.
