Worked with two strands of yarns held together, one fingering weight together with a mohair yarn, Hitra has a soft texture with a fuzzy halo.  The sweater combines an allover Half Fisherman’s rib with delicate vertical cable panels on the front and the sleeves.  Hitra is worked seamlessly from the top down and in the round.  The yoke is shaped with short rows and raglan increases.  Sleeve stitches are placed on hold at the armhole, and the body is completed first, after which you work the sleeves.
