This cozy cowl was inspired by the ‘Bee Stitch’, in which a super squishy texture is achieved by knitting into the row below. The set also features an off-center chunky cable to catch your eye.

Size:
Cowl: 9.5 inches (24 cm) deep; 13 inches (33 cm) wide

Yarn:
200 to 330 yds (183 to 302 m) of chunky-weight yarn
• Pictured in madelinetosh Tosh Chunky (100% Merino; 165 yds (151 m)/118 g (4.0 oz); Shown in Colorway ‘Brickdust’; 2 skeins will complete the cowl.

Needles:
US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) 24” circular needle – or size needed to obtain gauge; US size 11 (7.5 mm) needle – optional, for a loose bind off

Gauge:

Errata/Special Stitches
It seems the additional instruction for the K1b stitch was left off the pattern. Here’s how:

Knit into the Row Below (K1B): insert RH needle into the center of the st directly below the next st on your LH needle (you’ll be knitting into both the stitch below the next st on your LH needle AND the next stitch on your LH needle). Knit this st (with the st above it), dropping both loops from the LH needle.
