Inspired by the first flower of spring, the crocus, this hat is a colorful antidote to a harsh winter. The lace pattern provides breathable warmth, ideal for unpredictable spring weather.

Matching wristlet pattern available (Hocus Crocus Wristlets). Also available in Worsted weight pattern. Only one skein of each will make both the wristlets and beanie.

This hat is worked in the round from the top down, using double-pointed needles, two circular needles, or one long circular needle (for the “magic loop” method).

Size: Child/Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, circumference 18, 19.5, 22.5 inches (46, 49.5, 57 cm) unstretched.

Materials needed:
- 1 skein DK weight for main color (shown: Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, color: Violets 3117), large size uses approximately 51yds/17g.
-1 skein DK weight for contrasting color (shown: shown: Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, color: Olive 3055), large size uses approximately 54yds/18g.
