These socks are inspired by the mountains in Jämtland called Höglekardalen. These mountains are close to my heart since I’ve spent a lot of time there on a Snowboard in wintertime and picking cloudberries in the fall. This sock is just as good to use in the cold winter, or during fall in hiking boots.

The sock has two different size options, where the width is different between the two. If you want to knit the sock shorter or longer than what says in the pattern it’s easy to adjust.

You need two skeins of the main color and one for the contrasting color (50 gram skeins).

The needle size is a recommendation, but use the needle you need to meet the gauge.
