Hojas y Bayas is a perfect all-year-round, crescent-shaped shawl. Its name means “Leaves and Berries” and the elegant lace repeat reminds you of outdoor goodness. It is offered with 2 different versions: one with a smaller lace section that uses less than 260 yards of fingering-weight yarn, and another with a wider lace section that uses about 400 yards of light fingering/lace-weight yarn. This project uses hardly any yarn, has short rows with no wraps or turns, and is big enough to keep you warm yet small enough to stash in your purse for a restaurant or movie theater chill. It is the perfect showcase for Knit Knerd’s Hand Dyed Yarn, or any luxury yarn.

Please note that the pattern version that includes 2 sizes is only available in the Ravelry store; the version offered on the Knit Picks site was the fingering weight version only.

This pattern is FREE to customers of Knit Knerd Yarn!

Note: the lace is charted only.
