I used 3ply.
8 (9, 10) balls; approximately 1180 (1330, 1500) meters required.

28 stitches and 35 rounds = 4 inches in 2×2 rib, gently stretched

32 (36, 40)
To fit actual chest circumference of 31–34 (35–38, 39–42) inches, Note that the fabric stretches a lot.
