This pattern will show you how to make a cute little seal amigurumi, with optional winter clothing accessories sized to fit.

The seal is made with an E hook and worsted weight cotton yarn (less than 1 skein). You’ll also need fiberfill stuffing, a tapestry needle, and a little bit of yarn to stitch on the face. You can use 6mm safety eyes or stitch them on, depending on your preference. I recommend using a stitch marker to keep your place as you go. The seal’s head, body, and tail fins are worked all in one piece, but I’ve also included an alternative method for making the fins that may be simpler for some that involves making the fins separately and sewing them in place. Either method should give you the same finished look.

The hat and scarf for the seal are made with an I hook and worsted weight cotton yarn (scrap yarn works great for this). I made mine removable, but you can also stitch the hat and scarf in place on the seal if you want them to be more permanent.

You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to with finished products made from this pattern but if you do sell them, I ask that you link back to my page. You may not copy this pattern, repost it anywhere (either altered or in its original form), or claim it as your own. You may not use any photos on this site for your own use.
