Honey Bear
by Susan J Ward
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Honey Bear is an easy to knit teddy. Her arms and legs are button and thread jointed and two strands of yarn (one of each) are worked together throughout to form a lovely firm teddy bear.
You will nedd a good quality polyester toy filling and I have used a pair of 15mm safety eyes.
Tension isn’t too important for toys. As a general guide if you find your stitches are tight on the needles then move up a needle size, or, if they are always looser go down a size. Either way, the size of ‘HONEY BEAR’ will just vary slightly. Please be aware that you will be using fibre fill and you will achieve a better result if your knitting isn’t too gappy.
