The ‘Honey Hive’ is a double to treble thick fabric which makes it particularly thick and warm.

Knitted flat, bottom up from an integrated hem in a pretty mock cable rib, it progresses into rolling pleats. It is topped off with a somewhat unusual knitted pom-pom in a textured ‘twirl’ st.

I used DK weight wool, 2 strands together, because I particularly liked this wool. You could however, make it up in Aran weight wool just as well.
