The Honey Mustard Mittens are fingerless mittens that are knitted in the round, from the cuff onwards. They feature a thumb gusset in order to obtain a perfectly tight and yet comfortable fit. Sizes are given in small, medium and large but you can easily adjust the stitch number to your own liking. You could also go up or down one or two needle sizes in order to alter the size.

The pattern is written in a very detailed fashion so that even beginners will be able to knit themselves a pair of these lovely mittens. A lot of techniques are explained but you should at least know how to cast on stitches (for example by german twisted cast on or long tail cast on), how to knit and purl and how to knit in the round.
I remember when I first started knitting and didn’t know a lot about that wonderful craft. I often found myself staring at patterns that I just didn’t understand. I hated when they were merely short recipes for way more experienced knitters than I was at that point. I hope that even beginners will be able to follow this pattern and that experienced knitters won’t find the detailed instructions too tiring =)
