Needles: US 10.5 (6.5 mm) straight needles or size you need to obtain correct gauge

On the first row, the number of stitches remaining is 25 NOT 24.

The last row before bind off does not tell the number of stitches remaining. I could not figure out what is was supposed to be but it didn’t affect the look of the scarf.
